A2L charts on the card
The Quick Reference Cards carry A2L pressure/temperature charts and refrigerant weight charts, so R-32 and R-454B numbers are on you at the unit.
This is the working pair rather than the study pair. The paperback is where you learn the procedure properly; the cards are what you have on you once you already know it and just need the number.
The 2nd Edition covers new tools, updated procedures and the A2L refrigerants R-32 and R-454B. The cards exist because the pressures and weights are the part you look up again and again, and digging through a book while the gauges are on is a slow way to find them.
The HVAC Quick Reference Cards hold:
- A2L pressure/temperature charts
- Refrigerant weight charts
The paperback behind them covers the full procedure:
- Total Superheat and Total Subcooling, and which metering device calls for which
- The total weight charging method, including refrigerant per foot of line set
- Recovery, evacuation and the vacuum procedure
- Leak detection methods and pressure testing limits
- A2L handling, tools and the service procedures that go with R-32 and R-454B
Free shipping within the USA. Orders normally leave within one to two business days. Returns are accepted within 30 days in resalable condition; the full terms are on the refund policy page.
Nobody reads a paperback on a roof.
The card is the half of this pair that travels. Pressure/temperature and refrigerant weight are the two lookups that interrupt the job, and having them in your hand instead of in a bag in the van is the difference between a glance and a walk back to the truck.
Check the P/T chartBehind the card is the whole procedure.
A chart tells you a number. It does not tell you which metering device changes the target, why your subcooling reading is lying to you, or what to do with the result. That is the book, written in field order: measure, read, interpret, act.

The card covers you when there is no signal and no spare hand. When you do have a phone free, the online P/T chart and the HVAC calculators go further, and they cost nothing.
