The HVACR training brand behind the YouTube channel, the books and the HVAC Academy.
Ready-to-teach slide decks on the refrigeration cycle. Built by Craig Migliaccio for instructors, trade programs and company training departments. This is a digital download in PowerPoint — nothing ships.
Available as soon as you buy
Digital files, not a package. You get download access at checkout, so the material is on your laptop before the next class.
Made by a licensed HVACR instructor
Craig Migliaccio holds an HVACR Master License and is licensed by the State of New Jersey to teach HVACR, Sheet Metal and Building Maintenance. He taught the refrigeration cycle to high school and adult classes before building these slides.
The refrigeration cycle is where a class is either won or lost. Students who never see it clearly spend the rest of the course memorizing numbers they cannot explain. These presentations walk the cycle through in teaching order, so the sequence builds instead of jumping around.
They were not assembled by a marketing department. Craig taught this material in a classroom, found what students actually get stuck on, and built the slides around those points.
These decks are aimed at people who have to stand up and teach:
- Trade school and high school HVACR instructors
- Apprenticeship programs and union training centers
- Contractors running in-house training for new hires
- Distributors and manufacturers putting on tech days
- Anyone who needs a clean explanation of the cycle on a screen rather than drawn on a whiteboard from memory
This is a digital product. No physical item ships and no shipping is charged. You receive download access once the order completes, and the files are PowerPoint presentations, so you can project them as they are or trim and reorder slides to match your own syllabus. If you need the exact contents of the download confirmed before you buy, or you want to check how it may be used across a program or a company, email info@acservicetech.com and we will sort it out.
Hours of slide building you do not have to do.
Most instructors already know this material. What they do not have is the evening it takes to draw a clear cycle diagram, lay out the pressure and temperature changes and get it readable from the back row. That work is already done here.
See the classroom training projectsTeach the cycle, then send them to the equipment.
Slides explain what is happening inside the system. Pair them with hands-on work and the free reference tools, and students connect the diagram to a real gauge reading. That is the jump that makes a trainee useful on a service call.

The books, the workbooks, the posters and these presentations all come from the same instructor and use the same language for the same concepts. Students stop having to translate between one source and the next, which is a bigger problem in this trade than it sounds.
